critical questions:
-What tactics did ww2 dictators use to rise to power?
- They all had their common methods for convincing their audiences to become their followers and fight along with them on their plans. For instance, Hitler used exquisitely worded speeches to persuade the German people that what he was aiming to achieve would be beneficial to their country and themselves. After all, Germany had become a shattered nation after being defeated in World War 1 and therefore was in a desperate need for someone to guide them and bring back their power.
-How could the rise of such powerful dictators have been prevented?
- There were multiple occasions in which Hitler's acts could have been prevented from spreading further. When Germany was demanding for the smaller countries like Austria and Czechoslovakia, the League of Nations would let him have his way in order to minimize the chances of going to war again. It is believed by historians that it was highly possible for Britain and France to have stopped Hitler by aiding Spain before Germany became fully armed. But they weren't willing to risk war, so as a result, they were obligated to take action in the end when it was too late.
