Although Italy helped battle and expand territories with Germany and Japan, it was a country that didn't exactly cause many significant events that could define World War 2. Italy's dictator was named Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini, and it was him who formed the Fascist Party that helped him raise in power and rank. With unemployed war veterans from the previous war supporting him, Mussolini created the Black Shirts which were meant to terrorize any political opponents. Being inspired by Hitler in many aspects, Italy was able to conquer other lands but quickly lost them when the Allies began attacking and freeing Europe's manipulated nations.
